Stone Middle School Pollinator Prairie

The Stone Middle School Pollinator Prairie was created as a partnership  between Florida Institute of Technology (FIT), Stone Middle School, and Little Growers Inc. Staff and volunteers have converted a small field of grass on Stone Middle School's campus into a Pollinator Prairie, which will absorb stormwater, act as habitat for native pollinators, and beautify the school campus.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

Come get your hands in the soil with us at the Stone Middle School Pollinator Prairie during the following volunteer days. We will be spreading pine straw, weeding, and adding new plants where needed. Contact Dr. Emily Ralston if you have any questions (ERalston@fit.edu).
