🌿 Little Growers Inc. Club Council

Empowering Youth Through Leadership, Governance, and Action

At Little Growers Inc., we believe that youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow—they are the leaders of right now. The LGI Club Council is a youth-led, elected body of student leaders who help shape the direction, voice, and impact of our programs.

👥 How Club Council Members Are Selected

Youth Council members begin their leadership journey as participants in the Summer Earn & Learn Program, where they:

  • Learn and practice Robert’s Rules of Order

  • Participate in youth-led voting processes

  • Take part in civic education, team-building, and community service

At the end of the summer, selected students are invited to join the Club Council based on their engagement, leadership, and interest in continuing their service.

🏛️ Structure & Purpose of LGI Club Council

The LGI Club Council serves as a youth voice and leadership body for Little Growers’ community programs. Members meet regularly to:

  • Plan and advise on youth-led events and workshops

  • Participate in decision-making processes

  • Represent youth interests at LGI meetings and public events

  • Help shape the future of our gardens, climate programs, and outreach efforts

Council members are elected annually by their peers and serve as ambassadors for youth involvement in environmental justice, urban agriculture, and sustainability.
